Does Trump Have a Plan to Hurt Disloyal Republicans?

A recent report from the Washington Post says that Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, could be the leader of a team that would go after Democrats during the 2018 midterm elections.

“the group could be a potent force in the 2018 midterm elections”

The real question is: will the team also go after Republicans? A lot of Trump’s targets have not just been from opposing parties, but many are also members of the GOP. This would not be good. If this team goes after members of the GOP who haven’t been loyal to Trump, many Republicans will be forced into not holding him accountable for bad policies. If Donald Trump doesn’t denounce this as being possible, this is a plausible bullying tactic and could be Trump’s way of strong-arming those in his own party into not standing up to him. I pray that this is not the case and so should you. Just because he won the election for the Republican party doesn’t make him God. It doesn’t make him the embodiment of conservatism. Those in the Republican party have a responsibility to hold Trump accountable for his actions. They have a responsibility to stand up to him and not let him continue to destroy the party.
